Our Stewardship Campaign Begins this Sunday, February 11, 2024!

 

What is Stewardship?

 

Stewardship is using the gifts that we are blessed with for the mission and values we believe in. Our stewardship expresses who we are and what we believe. These gifts may be environmental, human, structural, and financial.

 

Management

We need to manage what we have, to be able to keep it in good condition and to make it a blessing to others and even to the community and beyond.

 

Responsibility

We are responsible for making what we have last, endure and be a legacy to future generations.

 

Benefit or Reward

The benefits are multifaceted. Using our gifts to make the world a better place enriches our own lives, spiritually and emotionally. In addition, we will be sustaining our property and programs which will nourish and equip others for life - even 100 years from now. We therefore give an account of what we do.

 

These are the reasons why we pledge. We accept this Stewardship responsibility by pledging our time and financial gifts by using pledge envelopes. Let us rejoin this effort. We may be small, but we are mighty! Let us make our monthly, quarterly, or yearly pledge for The Church in Ocean Park!
