Speaker: Emma Bornstein

Emma Bornstein is a Jewish and Interfaith Chaplain at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and a former spiritual counselor at Beit T’shuvah, an addiction treatment center. Prior to her work as a Chaplain, Emma studied and worked in the field of Restorative Justice. Emma has been a volunteer with IfNotNow LA for almost 10 years and a member of Jewish Voice for Peace. She is passionate about matters of the heart, tending to community wellness and living in deeper relationship with the Earth. Her master's thesis was entitled Interwoven in the Divine Fabric of Creation: Jewish and Ecological Wisdom as a roadmap for Addiction Recovery. She is a Movement Chaplain, supporting front-line activists and spiritually accompanying those committed to Palestinian liberation and liberation in all forms.
