Celebrating Purim and Holi when Hate is Literally at Your Front Door

Last week, cowards came in the middle of the night and walked right up to our door to spread hate. 

 

Ministers who preach that homosexuality is a sin, Sunday school teachers who follow the lead of the ministers, and parents who believe they are being "good" Christians encourage this kind of hatred. 

 

People who are queer are made in the image of God just the way they are.  

 

We are in the Holy season of Ramadan, the festival of Purim and the celebration of Holi. And we are in a season of grief. We can hold it all.
