Soul of Money Class

Thursday November 9th

7:00 - 8:30 pm

Held at Hill Street Center

Co-Faciliated by Rev. Rebecca Benefiel Bijur

and Rachel Ginnerty

This is a five-session study group exploring money and self, community, and religious/spiritual identity. The group will be using a facilitation model that encourages personal sharing and listening more than dialogue or debate. The group is designed for 8-14 participants who are able to attend at least four of the five sessions; although we were oversubscribed on our first day of registration on Sunday, please sign up for our wait-list.

The study group will meet at the Hill St Center from 7-8:30pm for five Thursdays, beginning Thursday, Nov. 9, and concluding Thursday, Dec. 14, skipping Thursday, Nov. 23, which is Thanksgiving Day. If you are interested in joining the class, email Rev. Rebecca by Nov. 1.

Rev. Rebecca is a Unitarian Universalist minister, parent, and fundraiser currently working with Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE); Rachel Ginnerty is a professional bookkeeper, civic leader, and parent. Both Rev. Rebecca and Rachel live in Santa Monica.
