Join Darya Jones to discuss Encountering God: A Spiritual Journey From Bozeman to Banaras written by Harvard Divinity School professor Dr. Diana Eck. This book recounts Dr. Eck’s “spiritual journey” from Montana to India, as she discovers the importance of developing a “pluralism” approach to theology. Pluralism is about radical inclusivity of other faith traditions, allowing them to enrich our own. Since we are an interfaith church, Darya thought it would be a good idea to discuss a book that seems foundational to our values. Understanding other faith traditions can only be of benefit to us, because it allows us to know other people for who they are and where they are.
